Effective August 13, 2020, the Connecticut Insurance Department (the “Department”) will cease accepting applications for temporary resident insurance producer licenses as permitted by the April 21, 2020 notice (“the notice”) and rescinds the temporary waiver for applicants for producer licenses of the requirement of successfully passing an examination as a condition to licensure. Any and all applications for a temporary resident insurance producer license received by the Department on or after August 13, 2020, will not be processed until the required state examination has been successfully passed.
