The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act of 2019, Pub.L. 116–94, was signed into law on December 20, 2019 as part of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020.

Join Kevin Quinn, Esq & Chris Roy, Esq of Legacy Counsellors, PC - Bloomfield, CT for this upcoming class. We will review the implications of the secure act on retirement strategies.  Kevin and Chris bring the legal perspective and consequences for retirement and estate planning. This program has been submitted for CE credit.

Mr. Quinn is a former member of the National Counsel on Planned Giving and the Connecticut Planned Giving Group. Attorney Christopher P. Roy earned his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in 2014, and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut. Attorney Roy was a member of the Moot Court Board at Western New England University School of Law, and had the privilege of representing his alma mater in four Moot Court competitions from 2013-2014.

Attorney Roy is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), ElderCounsel, WealthCounsel, and the Estate Planning Council of Hampden County, Inc. He is also a VA Accredited Attorney.
